Frank has been in archery for over 50 years. He began instructing in 1984. Because he been in archery for so long he has experience in all types of archery: Bare Bow – String Walking – Recurve – Compound, fingers or release, for target, 3-D or hunting.

Two-day classes are recommended for archers that come from out of state.

Class hours are generally 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. but can run longer if necessary.

Classes are $300 per person per day. Hourly lessons are available for $40 per hour.

Frank teaches all the classes himself. He teaches no more then two people at a time unless you want a larger class. The classes are customized to fit the archer’s needs.

Each class begins with a thorough examination of your equipment. Improperly set up equipment could be the cause of a number of problems that archers experience. Improper set up can cause problems with aiming and setting the release off. A lot of times people try to tune their equipment and are unsuccessful just because the draw length is incorrect.

You will learn how to set-up and tune your equipment to suit your shooting style and form. If requested, Frank will teach you how to make strings and cables and assemble arrows.

Your form will be reviewed and suggestions will be made to help you improve your form and mental game. Each archer will be filmed so that the shots can be viewed and analyzed by Frank and the archer and later used to create a shot routine for you. You will take home a CD recording of shots you made while at the school.

If interested, Frank will teach you how to learn to judge yardage and how to shoot under adverse conditions such as windy, hilly conditions and pressure.

Location
The school is located in Vail, AZ approximately 15 miles southeast of Tucson, AZ. Accommodations can be made near the Tucson International Airport. Transportation can be provided to and from the school, if requested.

Class Dates
There are no set dates for the classes to better accommodate the students. To schedule a class, contract Frank with two or three sets of dates and he will let you know which work with his schedule. Weekdays are generally easier to schedule because Frank still competes and that uses up a lot of his weekends.
